Job Description: Mission Design & Analysis Engineer Who we are: Upgraha Space Technologies is start-up based out of Bengaluru providing turnkey small satellite solutions and services that enable governments and businesses to access high-quality, timely data from space. This data has a vast range of applications, from weather forecasting to precision farming to environmental monitoring, and is essential to improving our quality of life on Earth. Roles & Responsibilities: • Create comprehensive mission designs based on customer needs to support ongoing business development efforts. • Perform orbital analyses for various mission scenarios. • Define Mission Concept of Operations. • Support the writing of proposals by providing technical content and review • Design and validate the mission "sequence of events" for bus commissioning, payload checkout/calibration, and mission operations. Skills Desired • Experience with commercial spacecraft operations • Must Have: Mission design and orbit simulation experience using commercial software (STK, GMAT) • Knowledge and understanding of operating multiple spacecraft in-formation. • Knowledge and understanding of spacecraft conjunction analysis • Understanding of principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in Mission Design. Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s/Master's Degree (Aerospace) in Engineering
