Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Float to assigned unit/s: Med surg/Tele or ICU • Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene • Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients • Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment • Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit • Answers phones and call lights • Ensures unit is stocked with supplies • Assists patient transporter as needed • Other duties as assigned Shifts: Night Shift, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Days Shift, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Experience: 2 or more years of nursing assistant experience (strongly preferred) Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred) Current BCLS certification (required) Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English Basic computer knowledge Working Title: Nursing Assistant - Float Pool (Med Surg/Tele & ICU) - Part Time Business Entity: Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital Job Category: Nursing Position Type: Part-time Base Pay:$17.87 - $27.70
