Please don't miss to refer someone who are looking for projects Job Details: Position: Slot Technician Duration: Full-time Job Location(s): Hanover, MD SCOPE AND MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: • Repairs, maintains, and monitors the operation of assigned electronic gaming devices. Fills payout reserve containers. Participates in move of any slot related equipment. RESPONSIBLITIES: • Repair and maintain slot related equipment on the casino floor. • Repair and maintain slot related equipment in the slot shop. • Participate in installation, movement, and removal of slot related equipment. • Maintain proper gaming logs in order to comply with state and or internal regulations. • Ensures an enjoyable gaming experience of guests to Maryland with maintaining the gaming equipment at the top level of proper operation. • Any and interaction with guests is friendly, cooperative and professional. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Requirements EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Two-year Electronic Degree is preferred or equivalent experience in electrical maintenance. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES • Knowledge of hand tools and electronic testing devices. • Ability to write technical statements. • Ability to read simple instructions and schematic diagrams. • Ability to do routine troubleshooting. • Ability to repair gaming devices. • Knowledge of gaming laws and regulations. • Good communication skills. • Good leadership ability. • Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment. PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to • 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. • Grasping. Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm. • Lifting. Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. • Pushing.
