Key responsibilities: Compliance with all TSA, DOT and Customs regulations (US and Foreign) Preparation and execution of freight negotiations with agents, dispatchers, deugro overseas offices, etc. Coordination of transport processes with warehouses, forwarders and suppliers Organisation of inland and airfreight shipments Organisation of inland and oceanfreight shipments Taking over the entire communication with overseas Carrying out continuous training and familiarisation of new colleagues or team members Checking and approving incoming invoices, creation of billing invoices Preparation of outgoing invoices and shipping documents of all kinds Tracking and tracing of freight to destination Checking of shipping orders General dispatch processing incl. customer service Informs customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer Ensuring accurate and thorough documentation of all projects and related matters incl. filing and archiving of all important documents
