Prepare lesson plans and instruct sessions according to approved curriculum. Attend pre-course meetings with the Program Manager and/or Executive Director. Understand Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) and Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) score levels. Develop course curricula and lesson plans with authentic reading and listening materials. Build and update curriculum and course materials. Answer student emails and communicate regularly with students. Provide regular communication and feedback to students throughout the course. Submit lesson plans and course/teaching materials to the LTC Program Manager for the teaching materials archive. Communicate and/or meet with center directors, other instructors on the same teaching team, and LTC staff as needed. Provide feedback to the Program Manager and/or Executive Director on course(s) as needed. Perform additional duties as required by the supervisor.
