We have not had an assistant position open for years and are looking for that special someone who loves working with people, likes staying busy, and takes pride in making patients feel welcome, comfortable, and excited about their orthodontic journey. What you’ll do: • Work alongside our doctors to deliver excellent orthodontic care • Enjoy a dynamic work environment with the latest technologies in a state-of-the-art office • Significant independent work with both patients and digital workflows on the computers • Expand your orthodontic skills by working with a very progressive team that is committed to better understand the future of orthodontics • Assist with orthodontic procedures including braces, Invisalign, appliances, and adjustments take photos, x-rays, and scans to help monitor patients’ progress • Educate patients on how to properly care for their braces and appliances for healthy and successful results • Create a positive, welcoming experience for the patients and their families Modern Orthodontics, Modern Technology Our practice utilizes: • Invisalign and digital treatment planning • Itero digital scanning for a more comfortable and accurate alternative to impressions • Dental Monitoring to track treatment progress between appointments • DIBS indirect bonding for computerized precise bracket placement at bonding appointments • CBCT 3D imaging for the most accurate diagnostics for treatment planning • Dental Pain Eraser to help make treatment and certain procedures more comfortable for patients Who we are looking for: • Friendly, upbeat, and comfortable working with kids, teens, and adults • A team player who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed • Dependable and able to keep up in a fast paced environment • Great communication skills with patients, parents and coworkers • Someone who takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about patients • Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems Experience and Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent requires • 2+ years of orthodontic experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate • Registered Dental Assistant license required • Experience with Dolphin or other orthodontic software is a plus Why Haeger Orthodontics?
