Job Summary Library and Information Adjunct Faculty assist with the instructional delivery of courses taken by program majors for graduates and undergraduates. Primary Duties and Responsibilities The School of Library and Information Science is seeking someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Library and information adjunct faculty teach up to 6 hours [two – 3-credit-hour courses] per semester. Typical courses focus on technology in libraries, information science, and traditional library services—like cataloging, collection development, reference, literature, etc. Instruction in online synchronous formats to graduates and undergraduates. Assessment of student learning outcomes. Active communication with students via email and LMS email. Use of active learning techniques. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Performs other duties as assigned.
