Specific details of the job duties and responsibilities are: The Medical Assistant prepares necessary equipment and assists the physician during examinations and treatments; Performs medical assistant evaluations of new and existing patients; Administers prescribed medications; Applies sterile dressings; Performs phlebotomy; Performs care coordination activities including patient scheduling and follow-up; Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
