JOB PURPOSE The Accounting Analyst II is responsible for supporting the organization’s financial operations through advanced accounting analysis, reconciliations, reporting, and process improvement. This role works closely with operations to ensure accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with accounting expertise to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and contribute to operational efficiency. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Perform general ledger reconciliations, account analyses, and journal entries to ensure financial accuracy. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including variance analysis, and reporting. Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies, unusual transactions, and reporting inconsistencies. Collaborate with internal departments to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting efficiency. Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests. Develop and document accounting procedures and best practices.
