Key Responsibilities: • Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapies, including scaling & root planning • Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting • Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (N2O) as certified • Take and develop dental x-rays • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols • Collaborate with dental providers to ensure comprehensive patient care Requirements: • Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program • Active Minnesota dental hygiene license in good standing • Clinical experience preferred, but not required • Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross • Local anesthesia/N2O certification • Proficiency or willingness to learn Open Dental software, Microsoft Office, and other necessary systems. • Valid state driver’s license If you are passionate about providing exceptional dental care and making a difference in the community, we encourage you to apply!
