Distillation Operator 1 - Winter Haven, FL Summary/Objective: Operation and Troubleshooting of Distillation and processing equipment Essential Functions: • Run Distillation and Reaction process equipment, Inventory management through paperwork transfers. • Charging of stills, • Process plumbing lineups with hoses hard lines and fittings to and from tanks, • Packaging of citrus oils in drums/pails/gallon containers with various methods, sampling and labeling distillation cuts and running GC analysis on cuts and in process samples, making run condition changes/decisions based on analysis, housekeeping of the work area, adhering to GMP/HACCP/Food • Safety Standards. Forklift operation- drum and pail pallets and drum picker usage. Supervisory Responsibility: • None Work Environment: • 50% Ambient/50% Air Conditioned Office Physical Demands: • Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis, able to bend, stoop, stretch, reach and duck. • Moderate periods of standing. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Direct-Hourly- 7 days on/off 12 hour shifts Required Education and Experience: • GED-HS Diploma Req. • Simple Mathematics understanding Req.
