We are seeking an experienced engineering leader to serve as a Functional Manager within our Software Engineering organization. In this position, you will guide a talented team of engineers while driving the design, implementation, and sustainment of mission-critical software solutions. You will provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, oversee program execution, and plan for next generation solutions. You will also lead on the people side, growing the team through hiring and mentoring engineers, developing careers, and guiding performance across the team. Responsibilities • Provide supervision, mentoring, career development, and performance management for a team of software engineers. • Conduct one-on-one and section level meetings. • Provide a safe, inclusive culture. • Support recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new team members to meet business needs. • Use your technical skills and experience to ensure the design, implementation, and sustainment of our software solutions meet and exceed customer expectations. • Contribute to bid and proposal efforts. • Collaborate with other functional managers and discipline leads to ensure program success. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role/program, the expectation is that this job will be performed on site in Hudson or Merrimack, NH.
