Join BAE Systems' RF Capability Group and lead the development of cutting-edge microwave hardware! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Principal RF/Microwave Engineer to design and implement innovative microwave modules for mission-critical applications. You will leverage your expertise in wideband microwave design – including receiver front ends, tuners, up/down converters, and switch matrices – throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept to production. Key responsibilities: • Serve as technical lead or principal investigator on Capability Group programs • Design leading-edge hardware modules with a focus on small size, low noise, wide bandwidth and/or high linearity • Lead root cause and corrective action investigations • Generate necessary drawings and documentation • Support proposal and report generation • Mentor junior engineers
