We Protect Those Who Protect Us. Join us in BAE's Countermeasures and Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area as a Mechanical Technician IV for the Area 5 Factory. In this product line you will be supporting next-generation countermeasures to help aircraft answer evolving threats. This position is a weekend shift-working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This schedule consists of 36 hours worked per week with 40 hours of pay, plus a 10% pay premium. The Mechanical Assembler IV is responsible for the precision build, assembly, and modification of complex electrical and mechanical systems for the VSS program. This role focuses on transforming raw components into finished products by interpreting technical drawing packages, process sheets, and detailed specifications. The Assembler is tasked with the full lifecycle of the build process, including assembly, disassembly, rework, and repair. In addition to building, this role ensures high-quality standards through the inspection of peer work and the application of finishing techniques such as painting and sanding. Shift Note: This position supports the 4th Shift (Weekend Day Shift), working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This schedule consists of 36 hours worked per week with 40 hours of pay, plus a 10% pay premium. Due to the nature of the role, this position is 100% on-site at the Canal Street facility, Nashua, NH.
