Typical duties assigned to this position: • Lead a software team through Agile software engineering design and development • Employ your expertise, decision skills, and independent judgment in technical areas • Lead Design activities to achieve program success • Communicate essential information and coordinate with engineering disciplines and functions • Develop program schedules, earned value criteria, and productivity metrics for efficient performance • Ensure the established Software Development Process is implemented successfully • Support important program capture and proposal teams with software baselines that include development and cost/scheduling estimating • Work with Discipline Section Leads to determine program staffing needs and “right person/right job” Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
