The Supply Chain Planner (SCP) is the focal point for all supply chain planning activities. The planner supports execution of programs and coordination of new program / product launches. SCP monitors key performance indicators, analyzes performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of the supply chain. The Supply Chain Planner optimizes how supply chain management interfaces with manufacturing systems. SCP will plan, prepare, issue and control material requirements in conjunction with the production schedule. The Planner will support risk management activities impacting the value chain working with cross-functional teams. The planner ensures that project deliverables are completed on time to contract/internal delivery commitments. SCP will utilize system and process tools to achieve program / functional goals. As a Development Supply Chain Planner, this position requires that the individual possesses a strong understanding of Engineering, Procurement, and Planning responsibilities. The individual must be a problem solver, capable of troubleshooting process gaps and compressed schedules to ensure success for the program. This position relies on experience and judgment to organize, plan, and achieve program and department objectives; through collaborative teamwork and independent initiative.
