What is Quality Assurance (QA)? Quality Assurance is the process of ensuring that a product meets specific quality standards before it is delivered to customers. At Steelhead, QA means manually making sure software updates, bug fixes, and new features are reliable, functional, and error-free before they are released to users. This process helps maintain the integrity and performance of our platform. This is a manual QA position. No automated testing or programming experience is required. QA Specialist – Job Description Position Details: • Full-Time: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday • No prior QA experience required • Strong attention to detail is important • Starting at $20/hr Responsibilities: • Test software changes, including bug fixes and new feature implementations • Collaborate with developers to ensure code quality and functionality • Verify that issues have been resolved and that no new problems have been introduced (regression testing) • Communicate testing results, concerns, and progress clearly and consistently • Engage in continuous learning as the product evolves and grows in complexity
