The Paid Search Specialist is expected to demonstrate consultative insights, internally and externally, and display the necessary leadership to drive Paid Search results for our clients. This role includes developing and managing effective delivery strategies based on known business objectives. Detailed tasks include managing the strategy and planning of paid search accounts, managing the launch of new programs, guiding the optimization to meet specified performance objectives, and managing clients’ expectations and communications throughout the duration of the engagement. Essential Responsibilities: • Develop a strong understanding of client’s products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives • Analyze performance data and site analytics to develop insights for use in monthly and quarterly reporting. • Be responsible for various-sized PPC budgets and ensure money is being spent effectively and as scheduled • Closely manage project plans, launch plans, our scope of work, and delivery timelines to ensure each team is delivering on schedule and to specification • Assist in paid channel testing and analyzing results to increase KPI’s • Be highly analytical with data and forecasting while exercising the ability to meet monthly and quarterly forecast • Be a problem solver; understand why KPI’s are performing where they are • Stay current with industry trends, best practices and discusses potential impact with team • Have a base knowledge of Automotive OEM guidelines & rules to implement within automotive accounts. • Maintain positive relationships with search engines, understand search engine services, capabilities, and requirements • Provide support to Finance Department for billing and search engine invoicing Qualifications: • 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience required • 3+ years of experience in paid search engine marketing, agency experience preferred (Google AdWords and Microsoft adCenter) Skills & Experience: • Ability to think strategically and drive solid results to grow the business • Experience with advanced PPC knowledge: product listing ads, dynamic search, landing page testing and optimization • Strong data analytics and strategy background (Google Analytics required) • Ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly – Excel and PowerPoint • Exceptional oral, written, presentation and communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and an eagerness to work as a member of a team
