Assists manager with ODH, MQSA, and Joint readiness. Participates and prepares in the inspection process. • Maintains imaging equipment and other equipment in efficient operating order; contacts and reports malfunctions and need for repair to the Department Manager or appropriate vendor. • Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of department and associated work areas in compliance with Joint regulations. • Demonstrates competency in RIS/PACS, and monitors various reports. Evaluate and correcting any QC concerns. • Maintenance of supplies necessary for the department operations. • Supervises and directs daily activities of department’s technical, clerical, and support staff. • Creates departmental staffing schedule for technical, clerical, and support staff while assuring department is staffed to volumes. • Evaluates performance of staff and coaches as needed, Including annual reviews and competencies. • Recruitment and retention of employees including on-boarding process. • Conducts staff meeting. • Conduct reviews and completes timecard, monitors productivity/OT/etc. • Promotes teamwork by assisting in all other departmental needs. • Assists manager with billing reconciliation, including Quadex, Cewl, and EBEW. • Assist manager with operational and capital budgeting. • Participates in committees as needed. • Participates in departmental research as needed Additional Responsibilities • Performs other duties as assigned. • Complies with all policies and standards. • For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Education Associate's Degree (Required) or • Completion of an accredited 2-year program in Applicable Modality; (Required) and • Must meet education requirement for applicable modalities. (Required) Work Experience • 5+ years as registered technologist (Preferred) and • 5+ years full-time, post-graduation clinical experience (Required) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities • Knowledge of modality, computers, patient transport equipment, O2 tanks, immobilization devices, perforator, and radiology information system. (Required proficiency) • Must demonstrate effective organizational, written, and oral communication skills (Required proficiency) Licenses and Certifications • Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required Upon Hire) • Must hold license in applicable modality (RT(MR), RDMS(CT)).
