Full description

Pacifico Energy develops, finances, builds, and operates energy infrastructure that powers businesses and communities. In the U.S., we are tackling one of the biggest challenges facing AI and large-scale data centers: access to reliable power. Our private grids bring dedicated generation and energy storage directly to customers, helping projects move forward without waiting for traditional utility connections. We draw on Pacifico Energy Group’s experience across the U.S., Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam, spanning solar, wind, battery storage, and natural gas. Joining Pacifico means helping turn ambitious energy projects into operating infrastructure, with work that connects directly to the people and businesses building the future of AI. Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project with a site workforce peaking above 2,000. As HSE Manager you own the owner's health, safety and environmental oversight, set the standard the EPC contractor is held to, and carry the authority to stop work. What you get to do: • Lead the owner's HSE team and set expectations across the project. • Govern the contractor's safety programme, plans and performance. • Review and challenge job hazard analyses and high-risk work plans. • Lead owner participation in incident investigation and root cause analysis. • Own leading and lagging safety indicator reporting. • Oversee environmental compliance and permit conditions. • Deliver OSHA 30 training to the owner's team after mobilization. What you bring to the role: • 12+ years in construction safety leadership on large industrial projects. • 5+ years representing an owner over an EPC contractor under a lump-sum contract. • OSHA 500 and deep command of OSHA 1926. • Track record on sites with peak workforces above 1,500. • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent years of field experience. Nice to have: • CSP or equivalent certification. • Environmental permitting experience on a greenfield generation project.
