Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for gastrointestinal disorders in an outpatient setting. • Perform standard GI procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and related diagnostic evaluations. • Interpret test results and collaborate with internal medicine, surgery, and specialty providers for coordinated patient care. • Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. • Participate in ongoing quality improvement, peer collaboration, and patient education initiatives. • Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence and efficiency in a high-volume practice environment. Qualifications: • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology. • Active or eligible for New York State medical license. • Strong procedural skills in general gastroenterology; advanced endoscopy experience is welcome but not required. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
