About the Company: The client is a fractional go-to-market advisory that builds AI tools and go-to-market engines for early-stage startups, and also backs founders through an angel portfolio of 10+ investments across sectors like healthcare, B2B SaaS, AI, and fintech in Latin America and the U.S. Objective of this role: • Build a repeatable, sustainable Walmart-first e-commerce operation with strong systems in place within the first 3–6 months • Identify and launch high-margin, high-volume products using AI + data-driven research • Maximize revenue through supplier onboarding, listing quality, content output, and performance improvements • Automate and standardize workflows (research listing content ads reporting) to scale efficiently Responsibilities: Marketplace operations (Walmart focus; Amazon/Shopify support as needed) • Manage core Walmart Marketplace workflows: product research, listings, pricing, and performance tracking • Support expansion/operations across Amazon and Shopify as needed (secondary priority) Product research & selection • Identify strong product opportunities using data tools and AI (demand validation, trend analysis, competitor review) • Prioritize products that can win on margin, volume, and operational feasibility Listings, content, and conversion • Create/optimize listings (titles, keywords, descriptions, images, SEO) • Use AI tools/content generators to accelerate content creation and iteration velocity • Upload and manage organic content across relevant channels to support sales Supplier onboarding & revenue growth • Coordinate supplier onboarding and product setup to expand catalog and revenue per product • Ensure product information is accurate, compliant, and ready for marketplace requirements Paid ads & automation • Support and/or manage paid promotion efforts (automated/AI-assisted where possible) • Identify what to test, monitor performance, and iterate to improve sales outcomes • Reporting, tracking, and process building • Track sales performance, inventory signals, and account health; maintain clean reporting • Build SOPs, checklists, and repeatable mechanisms with support from a specialized team during the first 5–6 months Collaboration • Report directly to George; participate in a weekly call after onboarding to align priorities and progress Required skills and qualifications: • AI proficiency (mandatory): able to implement and manage AI tools for automation and data analysis (e.g., ChatGPT/Claude/content generators) • Experience supporting e-commerce operations, ideally with Walmart Marketplace or similar platforms • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail (data accuracy, listing quality, compliance) • Strong organization, time management, and reliable follow-through • Clear written communication and ability to work independently without micromanagement • Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment with performance accountability Preferred skills and qualifications: • Hands-on experience with Walmart Seller Center • Experience with product research workflows and listing optimization systems • Knowledge of fulfillment/logistics (e.g., WFS/FBM equivalents), inventory planning, and returns workflows • Digital marketing experience (content output, creative testing mindset, basic paid ads knowledge)
