Responsibilities Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, physician extender, or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards. Duty assignments vary and include, but are not limited to front office and back office functions. Qualifications Education • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or • In Lieu of formal education program, two (2) years of medical assistant or related clinical experience is Required Work Experience • 1 year of experience in a medical office setting with completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program.
