BMC empowers nearly 80% of the Forbes Global 100 to accelerate business value, faster than humanly possible. Our industry-leading portfolio unlocks human and machine potential to drive business growth, innovation, and sustainable success. BMC does this in a simple and optimized way by connecting people, systems, and data that power the world’s largest organizations so they can seize a competitive advantage. We are hiring a Senior Digital Analytics Manager to own how web and digital behavior connects to our broader data infrastructure and revenue motion. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you will provide direction and governance over our Adobe Analytics platform as assessment and implementation work progresses, architect the web-to-warehouse data pipeline, define how we measure performance in an era of AI-driven search, and serve as the connective tissue between digital strategy, Marketing Ops/GTM, demand marketing, and the Core Data team. Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success: Adobe Analytics Platform Ownership Own the strategy, standards, and governance for our Adobe Analytics implementation. Assessment and implementation work is already underway with an external partner — your role is to direct that work, shape decisions, and ensure what gets built reflects our measurement architecture and long-term needs. Establish and maintain standards for event taxonomy, naming conventions, data layer design, and documentation. Own ongoing platform health and QA. Web-to-Warehouse Data Architecture Design and maintain the pipeline from web data capture through to our data warehouse. Identify integration gaps, redundancies, and points of failure across web → core → downstream systems. Partner with data engineering to build clean, durable pipelines — using tools like Snowflake, dbt, or equivalent — so web data is trusted, documented, and joinable with CRM and campaign data. Attribution and Revenue-Linked Measurement Build and maintain the KPIs and dashboards that connect web performance to pipeline and revenue — not vanity metrics. Define and implement multi-touch attribution logic that works across the marketing stack. Partner with Sales Ops and the Core Data team to align on a single source of truth. Web Traffic Analysis and Optimization Analyze traffic, behavior, and conversion paths to surface where we're winning, leaking, and underinvesting. Translate findings into prioritized, testable recommendations. Raise the analytics fluency of digital and demand partners — bring people along rather than operating as a black box. Reimagining Measurement for AI-Driven Search Rethink the analytics model end to end, accounting for the shift toward AI-driven search and zero-click discovery. Define how we measure visibility, attribution, and intent when traditional referral and session signals erode. Build a forward-looking framework that keeps us ahead of changes in how buyers find and engage with us. Cross-Functional Partnership Serve as the web analytics point of contact across digital strategy, Marketing Ops/GTM, Core Data analysts, demand marketing, and revenue marketing. Connect campaign intelligence, tracking, and UTM/query-string conventions to consistent reporting and attribution across the organization. To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience: • Deep hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics — solution design, tagging architecture, governance, and analysis. Ability to assess and direct implementation work, not just execute it. • Working knowledge of the broader Adobe Experience Cloud: Launch/Tags, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA). • SQL proficiency — you write queries to validate data, build datasets, and answer business questions directly. Warehouse experience required; Snowflake strongly preferred. • Python experience applied to analytics workflows — data wrangling, pipeline validation, or automation. You don't need to be a data engineer, but you need to work comfortably outside point-and-click tools. • Experience with Salesforce and connecting web behavior to CRM data. • Proven campaign tracking and attribution experience: ownership of UTM/query-string conventions, governance, and multi-touch attribution logic. • Demonstrated ability to define KPIs from scratch and tie them to pipeline and revenue outcomes. • Track record of cross-functional work across marketing, ops, and data teams. What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months) • Adobe Analytics implementation work steered to produce a well-governed platform teams trust — with clear standards, owned taxonomy, and QA that doesn't depend on the external partner. • A documented web → warehouse data architecture with known gaps prioritized and sequenced. • Attribution logic that connects web behavior to CRM and pipeline — one source of truth adopted across digital, demand, and revenue marketing. • A defined measurement framework that accounts for AI search and zero-click discovery. • Clear, revenue-linked KPIs in use by digital, demand, and revenue marketing stakeholders.
