Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Med/Surg RN, you will be primarily responsible for utilizing the full scope of the nursing process. This includes meticulously identifying patient needs and priorities through comprehensive assessment, developing and delegating customized care plans, implementing precise therapeutic interventions, and continuously evaluating patient responses to ensure optimal outcomes. We empower our nurses to exercise initiative, sound judgment, and independent decision-making within the scope of the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Every day will be incredibly diverse, providing care to a wide variety of populations including adults, geriatrics, pediatrics, and patients across medical, surgical, orthopedic, ambulatory, and even ante-partum and nursery areas.
