Full description

The Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California (USC) invites applications for multiple full-time clinical faculty positions at a new outpatient location in Montrose, CA. These positions support adult rehabilitation and Lifestyle Redesign services within USC Care and offer the opportunity to practice in a dynamic academic healthcare setting. The Division seeks clinicians with expertise in hand therapy, orthopedics, lymphedema therapy, and Lifestyle Redesign. Applicants should have experience working with adult physical rehabilitation populations and chronic conditions, and must hold a current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of California. Clinical responsibilities may include neurological and cognitive rehabilitation for conditions such as stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury; lymphedema management, with preference given to candidates who are Certified Lymphedema Therapists; musculoskeletal and orthopedic rehabilitation; and chronic condition management, with Lifestyle Redesign training and certification preferred. Faculty assignments will be determined based on clinical expertise, prior experience, and organizational needs, allowing clinicians to develop focused specialty practices or contribute across multiple service lines. These roles provide the opportunity to integrate patient care with program development, clinical instruction, and scholarly activity within an interdisciplinary academic environment. The anticipated start date for these positions is July 1, 2026. The annual base salary range is $80,000 to $115,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations. USC is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law or USC policy. USC will consider for employment all qualified applicants with criminal records in a manner consistent with applicable laws and regulations, including the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for employers and the Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and with due consideration for patient and student safety. Please refer to the Background Screening Policy Appendix D for specific employment screen implications for the position for which you are applying.
