About the Role: As an ICU Kennel Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our Intensive Care Unit team by maintaining a clean and organized hospital environment, assisting veterinary technicians and doctors, and helping provide exceptional patient care to critically ill and injured pets. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in building a long-term career in veterinary medicine. Schedule: Sunday, Monday and Tuesday overnight 12 hour shift Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role: • Clean and disinfect kennels, treatment areas, exam rooms, and hospital equipment • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized ICU environment • Assist veterinary technicians and veterinarians with patient care and daily hospital operations • Restrain patients safely for examinations and treatments • Walk, feed, and monitor hospitalized patients as directed • Stock supplies and ensure treatment areas remain fully equipped • Launder bedding and maintain hospital cleanliness standards • Assist with patient transport throughout the hospital • Support the ICU team during emergency and critical care procedures • Learn veterinary assistant skills through on-the-job training and mentorship What You'll Bring: • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn • Passion for animal care and veterinary medicine • Ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally rewarding environment • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset • Ability to lift and restrain animals of various sizes • Reliable attendance and punctuality • Previous animal care, kennel, boarding, shelter, or veterinary experience is a plus but not required Growth Opportunity We believe in developing talent from within.
