RESPONSIBILITIES • Organizing and setting up workspace before, during, and after each shift including stocking, cleaning, sanitizing, and preparatory work. • Working with the F&B leadership team to ensure the smooth operation of coffee sales. • Knowledgeable in all aspects of the coffee beverages being offered. • Train and encourage the growth of fellow team members. • Greeting and welcoming guests to the restaurant while maintaining a professional appearance. • Knowledgeable present menus and recommendations to guests. • Using the company’s sequence with guests to make sure they are having a quality beverage experience. • Clearing, cleaning, sanitizing and resetting the venue as needed. • Efficiently operating a computerized point of sale system, completing financial transactions accurately, making change, and running credit cards. • Effectively and proactively communicate any safety, guest, or employee concerns with the Supervisors and Management. • Contributing to the overall success of the venue, and welcoming guests as needed. • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all work and storage spaces. • Contribute effectively to a positive guest experience while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance. REQUIREMENTS • Must have or be able to obtain an Alaska Food Handler Card. • Must pass a pre-employment background check. • Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available. • Must be eligible to work in the United States. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES • Ability to regularly lift a minimum of 10-15 pounds, frequently lift and or move up to 25-50 pounds. • Ability to organize and prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals. • Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards. • Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day.
