Job Description: • Low-Voltage Installation Technician You Are: • A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work. You Have: • Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, High EQ. Your Location: • Our Office: 904 Chester Pike Prospect Park, PA 19076 • Projects are located in the surrounding area Your Schedule: • Full Time (40hrs/Wk) – We do not short your hours!!! • Mon-Fri from 7:00/7:30am-4:00/4:30pm • Opportunity for Overtime. No weekends. Your Contribution to SoundWaves: • Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron) • Mount devices at the ends of those wires • Build and lace equipment racks • Advanced setup and configuration of devices • Programming (Control4, Savant, Lutron, Crestron, Nice) • Understanding of networks • Troubleshooting of devices • Train client on system operation You May Come From... • AV Installation (Resi & Commercial) • Security Installation • Low-Voltage Cable Pulling • Managed Services (MSP) - If you can install! • Electrician (HV or LV) Requirements: • Valid driver's license • Ability to pass a criminal background check SoundWaves' Contribution to You: • $30-$50/hr, based on skill level • 3% employer safe-harbor contribution after 6 months for eligible employees • Vacation Days - 6 days after Yr1, 10 days after Yr2, 12 days after Yr3-5, 15 days Yr6+ • Medical/Dental - 50% coverage after 60 days • 6 Paid Holidays • Training and opportunity for growth within organization • Perks: company gear, holiday party, bonus opportunities
