What We Need From You- Job Duties and Requirements: • Review daily appointment schedules and be prepared to greet customers in the drive with knowledge of their appointment • Review primary appointment reason with the customer and ask customer questions to identify any other issues their vehicle may be experiencing • Generate repair orders for customers • Dispatch the job to the properly trained technician • Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor • Calculate customer’s payment; including deductibles • Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining documents and records • Arrange towing and temporary transportation for the customer • Answer incoming calls from customers to address concerns and set appointments for future service needs • Make outgoing calls to customers to update them on the status of their vehicle in service. • Any additional training or responsibilities as deemed necessary by Service Manager Qualifications/Essential Job Functions: • Must have a valid driver’s license • High school education or equivalent • Ability to drive a manual vehicle preferred, but not required • Excellent oral communication skills • Experience working in cashier/credit card systems preferred but not required. • Must be able to stand for long periods • Flexibility with schedule to work nights and weekends • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills • Must be able to manage relationships across all channels and levels Ricart Automotive is an equal opportunity employer.
