This role involves working with tools, materials, and equipment to assist in building, repairing, and maintaining structures while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities: • Perform general construction tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently • Assist with skilled trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or masonry as needed • Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and instructions • Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to specifications • Load and unload construction materials and equipment • Maintain a clean and organized job site • Follow all safety regulations and company policies • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines Qualifications: • Previous experience in construction or a related trade preferred • Knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials • Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods) • Basic understanding of safety procedures and OSHA guidelines • Strong work ethic and reliability • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills: • Experience in specific trades (e.g., carpentry, concrete, HVAC, or electrical) • Ability to operate heavy equipment (forklifts, skid steers, etc.) • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Work Environment: • Outdoor and indoor construction sites • Exposure to varying weather conditions and loud environments • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift 50+ pounds • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and climb for extended periods • Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces when required
