Welcome to 100% 1-on-1 patient care. Pelvic Path is a boutique, cash-based outpatient practice in San Rafael, CA seeking a California-licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with a background or interest in outpatient orthopedics who is excited to expand their skill set into Pelvic Health. We operate completely outside the high-volume insurance model. We don't double-book, we don't use aides to run treatments, and we don't rush through high-volume schedules. Every appointment is 60 full minutes dedicated entirely to one patient. No prior pelvic health experience required! New grads and orthopedic PTAs are welcome to apply. We provide a fully paid, structured internal mentorship program and covered continuing education coursework (CEUs) to ensure you feel confident and supported every step of the way. Why You’ll Love Working Here • 100% 1-on-1 Patient Care: Guaranteed 60-minute sessions for every treatment. Zero double-booking, low volume, and no burnout. • Paid Specialty Certification & CEUs: Full clinical mentorship plus covered external coursework to launch your specialty career in pelvic floor physical therapy. • Zero Insurance Hassles: Cash-based practice model means minimal chart burden, no insurance quotas, and zero time spent fighting payors. • Work-Life Balance & Schedule Flexibility: Flexible shift options (Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN 25+ hours) that respect your personal time. • Calm Clinical Environment: Work in a tranquil, nature-inspired clinic alongside supportive, passionate clinical leaders in Marin County. Key Responsibilities • Deliver high-quality, 60-minute 1-on-1 treatments to outpatient orthopedic and pelvic health patients under PT supervision. • Progress individualized plan of care goals, therapeutic exercise programs, and functional movement strategies. • Gradually integrate pelvic health patients across all genders with direct, hands-on guidance from senior clinicians. • Maintain clear, concise clinical documentation in our modern EMR platform. • Foster an empathetic, empowering, and safe environment for patients receiving specialty care. Qualifications & Skills • Licensure: Active (or pending) Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California. • Experience: Strong interest or background in outpatient orthopedic care (New Grad PTAs welcome!). • Specialization: Genuine interest in gaining pelvic health specialization (treating all genders). • Skills: Strong communication skills, high empathy, and a patient-centered clinical approach. Compensation & Benefits • Full-Time Base Salary: $64,000 – $78,000 / year (commensurate with experience) • Part-Time / PRN Rate: $48.00 – $55.00 / hour • Healthcare Benefits: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance options • Paid Time Off: Generous PTO package + paid company holidays • Education Allowance: Covered CEU fees, paid specialty training, and structured clinical mentorship • Retirement Plan: 401(k) program available How to Apply Ready to leave high-volume clinic burnout behind and build a high-demand clinical specialty?
