This role is responsible for documenting patient encounters in real time, maintaining accurate electronic health records, and assisting with scheduling and other clinical administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities • Accompany physicians during patient visits and accurately document medical histories, findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions. • Document procedures, prescriptions, physician orders, laboratory tests, and imaging studies. • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely electronic health records. • Schedule and reschedule new and existing patient appointments. • Manage the patient waitlist by contacting patients when earlier appointments become available. • Schedule follow-up appointments at checkout and document any inability to schedule follow-up care. • Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive health information. • Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and healthcare team members. • Perform other duties as assigned to support clinical operations.
