Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Phlebotomists to support the Modesto Outpatient Clinic located at 1225 Oakdale Road, Modesto, CA 95355. The schedule is typically Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm, no weekends or holidays. Responsibilities • Verifying patient identity using two identifiers • Performing venipunctures and collecting properly labeled specimens • Processing specimens for testing or shipment • Performing waived and/or non-waived testing • Reviewing clinician orders in the VA system • Maintaining professional, compassionate interactions with patients and staff • Promoting a cooperative work environment Qualifications • Must hold a current California Certified Phlebotomy Technician certificate • Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience performing venipunctures in a clinic or hospital setting • Proof of current (within 1 year) tuberculosis (PPD) testing, rubella testing, and immunizations • No health or physical restrictions that interfere with job duties • Must comply with OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards and CDC/HICPAC infection control guidelines • No sponsorship available Pay Range: $23.56- $28.49 hourly All candidates must be able to: • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist • Lift up to 20 lbs • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
