Visual Merchandiser Location: Redwood City, San Jose, or Gilroy, CA — base location flexible; regular travel to all Party Teller stores required. About the Role: Party Teller is a fast-growing party-supply retail brand with 3 stores open in the Bay Area and more on the way. We're looking for a creative Visual Merchandiser to own the look and feel of our stores — product layout, displays, and seasonal presentations that make customers go "wow." What You'll Do: • Plan and execute store floor layouts, product adjacencies, and category presentations across all locations • Design and install window displays, endcaps, and feature tables, including seasonal themes (Halloween, Christmas, graduations, etc.) • Develop and maintain visual standards and planograms to keep every store on-brand • Partner with store managers and the buying team on new product launches and promotional displays • Create signage and POP materials that are clear, attractive, and consistent • Walk stores regularly; refresh displays based on sales data, seasons, and trends • Train store teams on basic visual standards so displays stay sharp between visits Required Qualifications: • 2+ years of visual merchandising experience in a retail environment • Strong portfolio of past display and floor work • Creative eye with a practical sense of what drives sales • Able to do hands-on installation work (lifting, ladders, power tools as needed) • Reliable transportation; able to travel between Bay Area stores • Must be willing to travel regularly to all Party Teller store locations Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with party supplies, seasonal, or specialty retail • Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Chinese) a plus • Basic graphic design skills (Canva/Adobe) a plus Compensation & Benefits: • $68,000–$90,000 per year, depending on experience Benefits and perks may include: • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance for eligible employees • Paid Time Off (PTO) • California Paid Sick Leave • Employee Discount • Performance-Based Incentive Opportunities • Training and Development • Career advancement opportunities to roles such as Assistant Store Manager, Store Manager, and future multi-store leadership positions
