Position Details • Location: Oak Brook, IL • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM–9 PM • Compensation: $30-$35/hr. (DOE) • Benefits: Guaranteed 22.5 hours + PTO • Start Date: ASAP • Children: Primary care for 2 children at home (ages 3 years and 1 year) • Older children are in full-time school or camps all year; occasional support needed • Pets: One small dog (no care required) Primary Responsibilities • Provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate care for the 1-year-old and 3-year-old • Plan engaging activities that support growth, learning, and daily routines • Prepare light meals for children. • Diaper changes and support potty training in a positive, consistent, and developmentally appropriate manner • Transport older children to after-school activities. • Run child- and family-related errands, such as returns and light pickups • Help with nighttime routines. • Maintain order and structure in children’s spaces in coordination with the live-in housekeeper • Communicate clearly and collaboratively with parents Ideal Candidate • Experienced career nanny with a background in multi-child households • Loving, patient, and trustworthy with excellent judgment • Highly organized and proactive, with strong attention to detail • Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic household environment • Comfortable with a parent present • Strong driving history and a reliable personal vehicle Additional Details • Occasional weekend availability appreciated • Possible domestic travel opportunities (not required) This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nanny manager seeking a part-time position with a supportive family that values professionalism, organization, and genuine care.
