Job description: • Recruiting and hiring new employees • Providing training and helping technicians develop skills • Ensuring compliance with regulations affecting service operations • Creating and managing an employee schedule • Conducting performance reviews for employees • Keeping up to date with manufacturer warranties and policies • Checking the progress of repairs and service • Greeting customers and maintaining relationships • Handling complaints • Maintaining work records and files • Supervising and training staff • Creating and managing the staff, maintenance, and work schedules • Overseeing work to anticipate, detect, and address factors that impede operations • Enforcing safety regulations and protocols • Conducting performance reviews with staff • Meeting with management to deliver feedback and develop work optimization strategies • Implementing strategies to optimize workflow and operational efficiency • Ensuring that all equipment and machinery are properly operated and maintained • Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing supplies as needed • Performing administrative tasks such as updating and filing equipment orders, stock receipts, and staff schedules Skills Needed: • High school diploma or GED • Valid driver's license • At least ten years of experience as a shop foreman or similar • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word • A great understanding of work optimization techniques • Good knowledge of the applicable safety regulations and procedures • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong leadership abilities • Good time management and problem-solving skills • A willingness to work long hours and overtime, if needed • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Benefits: • Health, Dental, and Vision; we pay 50% (after 60 days) • 401K (after one year of employment) Job Type: Full-time Salary: based on experience Schedule: 8-hour shift (or longer as needed) Work Location: Virginia Beach Please call 757-460-6100 or apply online at www.atlanticheatcool.com.
