Job Description Production Apprentice | Second Shift HALCON Furniture, located in Stewartville, MN, manufactures award-winning, modern office furniture of the highest quality. To meet increased demand for our innovative products, we are currently seeking a Second Shift Production Apprentice to join our growing company. The ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to contribute to their assigned Department and bring a positive attitude and strong organizational skills to a dedicated, fast-paced team. Responsibilities: • Perform various physical duties as assigned. • Move, secure, install, build, load, and unloads materials. • Perform some specialized tasks which may require on-the-job training. • Effectively use heavy and light equipment, depending on assigned task. • Handle and move material from place to place. • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. • Use power tools and machinery when needed • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner Qualifications: • Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers. • Have good attention to detail, as well as having a positive attitude. • Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines. • Good at working independently and as an active member of a team. • Previous working experience in a manufacturing environment. Salary Range: The starting range for this position is $19.00 to $22.00 per hour (plus shift differential). You may be assigned to work other days and/or shifts, as needed, to meet the needs of the business. When your department schedules overtime, you are expected to work the same hours as the rest of the members of your department.
