Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital 150 Flanders Road Westborough, MA 01581 Respiratory Therapy Manager FULL TIME, 40 hours, Monday through Friday $48-$55 $5000 SIGN ON BONUS Primary Responsibilities: • Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Respiratory Manager holds 24 hour authority, responsibility and accountability for Respiratory Care on the patient care units. • Coordinates interdepartmental services and provides clinical supervision of staff respiratory care practitioners, students and supervisors. • Develops and oversees the departmental and respiratory program policies, procedures and standards and assures that they are compliance with JCAHO, CARF, DPH, and other organizations • Actively participates in the development of specialty programs related to pulmonary care Conducts regularly scheduled staff meetings. • Participates in inter-disciplinary meetings. • Participates in the retention, recruitment and hiring process in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and Clinical Services. Prerequisites: • Graduate of NBRC approved Respiratory Therapy program. • Bachelor Degree required • Licensed as Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Massachusetts. • CRTT (registry eligible); RRT, RCPT preferred. • Three years’ minimum supervisory experience. • Previous experience as adult educator with emphasis on public speaking. • Previous geriatric and rehabilitation experience. • Knowledge of growth and development across the life span Benefits Offered: 401K Paid Sick, Vacation, Holiday Medical, Dental, Vision Life and Disability policies Accident, Hospital and Critical Illness Policies Flexible Spending Accounts Health Saving Account
