They treat diseases and disorders of the esophagus, stomach, intestines, colon, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas, as well as offer nutritional counseling and intervention. They operate out of 3 conveniently-located outpatient sites and have a staff of 3 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers. POSITION DESCRIPTION: The new physician will work in an outpatient setting, providing general gastroenterology services with the support of dedicated clinical and administrative assistants. The services of the practice include, but are not limited to: - consultations - follow-up visits - treatment of GI conditions - colonoscopy - capsule endoscopy - upper endoscopy - ERCP - colon cancer screening They see patients for such conditions as: - GERD - IBS - hemorrhoids - ulcerative colitis - Crohn's disease - pancreas disease Physicians see an average of 25 patients per day; this number is adjusted based on type of appointment scheduled, patient needs, and provider preference. Ample support, resources, and assistants are always available to physicians.
