Faculty / Philosophy The University of Mary in Bismarck, ND invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Philosophy starting Fall Semester, 2027. Areas of Specialization and Competence are open, but an ability to bring Aristotelian and Thomistic philosophy into fruitful dialogue with other philosophical traditions is a distinct asset. Expertise in bioethics is also an asset, but not required. A Ph.D. in Philosophy is preferred by time of employment. Applicants must excel in teaching and be committed to supporting formation outside of the classroom. An active research agenda is an asset. The teaching load is a 4/4 with the possibility of summer teaching for additional pay.
