Responsibilities include: • Provide physical therapy treatment and patient care according to facility, state and federal regulations and professional guidelines. • Perform physical therapy treatment tasks as delegated by and supervised by physical therapists. • Maintain open and ongoing communication with facility departments to ensure that patient, staff and hospital needs are met. • Document physical therapy services by charting in the resident medical record Credentials: • Current state licensure or certification as a physical therapy assistant in the state of California required. • CPR certification preferred unless otherwise required by facility policy.
