General Labor Packer Pries Enterprises is growing, and we’re looking for a General Labor Packer to join our team! No previous experience required — we’ll train you! If you’re dependable, safety-minded, and enjoy working with your hands in a team environment, this could be a great opportunity to build your career in manufacturing. 🕐 Available Shifts We offer a 2-2-3 schedule, giving you a consistent schedule with every other weekend off: • 3rd Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM What You'll Do • Receive instructions and work orders from the Machine Operator or Team Leader. • Gather the tools and materials needed for each job, including paper, wood, racks, spacers, clamps, and other packing materials. • Repetitively lift 50–75 lbs. with a partner. • Operate an overhead crane to safely move materials. • Inspect finished products for defects such as deep scratches, bends, dents, bow, and flatness issues. • Report product defects or concerns to the Team Leader. • Pack and stack aluminum products according to production specifications, pack codes, and customer requirements. • Ensure products are properly secured to prevent shifting or damage during handling and shipping. • Report discrepancies to the Machine Operator and/or Team Leader. • Hand stamp or stencil identifying information on cartons or shipping containers when required. • Follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures. • Report unsafe conditions or activities to the Team Leader and/or Safety Department. • Maintain reliable and consistent attendance. • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe. What We're Looking For • No previous manufacturing experience required! • Dependable and reliable attendance. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team. • Ability to safely lift 50–75 lbs. with a partner. • Willingness to learn and follow safety and production procedures. • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
