We are seeking a dependable and compassionate medication technician to support residents in an assisted living and memory care environment during a 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. shift. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who values resident dignity, safety, and quality care, and who enjoys contributing to a supportive team atmosphere. Responsibilities • Administer medications accurately and in accordance with facility policies, state regulations, and care plans. • Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly to the appropriate team members. • Document medication administration, refusals, omissions, and related resident observations clearly and accurately. • Support residents with daily routines while promoting independence, comfort, and respect. • Assist with memory care needs by providing calm, patient, and person-centered support. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe medication area. • Communicate effectively with nursing staff, care partners, and other team members to ensure continuity of care. • Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures at all times. Qualifications • Current certification or credential required for medication administration in assisted living and memory care settings. • Experience in senior care, assisted living, memory care, or a related healthcare environment preferred. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional in a busy environment. • Basic computer or electronic charting skills preferred. • Ability to stand, walk, and assist with resident care tasks throughout the shift.
