Hardscape Foreman | $31–$38/hr Put your hardscape experience to work leading a crew on paver patios and retaining walls, take pride in builds that last, and grow with a team that rewards skill. -Work outside, not behind a desk. -Run your own hardscape crew. -Build patios, walls, and outdoor spaces that last for decades. -Drive past your work and say, "My crew built that." -Grow with one of the largest, fastest-growing outdoor companies in the area. This is an experienced foreman role. You should already be trained in the craft and ready to lead a crew on day one. What You'll Own • Lead a hardscape crew (up to two) installing paver patios, retaining walls, walkways, steps, outdoor kitchens, and fire features that customers show off to their neighbors. • Turn site plans into finished builds done right the first time: layout, base prep, grading, and compaction with clean lines your crew takes pride in. • Set the standard on site: keep the crew protected, on schedule, and stocked, running daily truck prep and equipment like skid steers, compactors, and saws. • Finish every project with pride by leaving each site clean, organized, and ready for the client to enjoy. • Build the next generation of talent by training and mentoring newer crew members in the craft that makes an Alt's build stand out. • Keep our clients up and running all winter: when the snow flies, you and your crew clear commercial and residential properties during storm events. Snow response is on-call and can include nights, weekends, and holidays during storm events. What You Bring -Proven hardscape foreman experience is required. This is not an entry-level or trainee position. -You should come in already trained and able to run a crew with minimal oversight. -Three to five-plus years in hardscape or landscape construction, with real crew-leadership experience. -Command of paver patios, segmental retaining walls, and hardscape installation from base to finish. -The ability to read a site plan and run a job with minimal oversight. -Comfort operating a skid steer and other equipment (a strong plus, not a dealbreaker). -The physical ability to be on your feet all day and to lift, carry, and set materials of 50+ lbs (pavers, block, and stone) working outdoors in all seasons. -A valid driver's license and a clean, insurable driving record. -Pride in craftsmanship and the kind of leadership a crew wants to follow. Why Alt's Operation -Competitive pay of $31–$38/hr based on your experience. -Year-round work: hardscape season plus paid winter snow work, so your paychecks don't stop when the temperature drops. -401(k) with company match, plus health, dental, life and disability insurance. -Real room to grow: we've gone from 2 people to a team of over 100 during the snow season, and we build our leaders from within. There's no ceiling here. -A company vehicle provided to foremen after your first 90 days. -Top-tier equipment and the backing to take on the projects other companies turn down such as steep slopes, shorelines, and design-builds that turn into award-worthy spaces. -A family-oriented crew where everybody has a voice and hard work gets respected. -Uniforms and PPE provided. -Overtime paid at time-and-a-half for hours over 40 in a week. -Snow pays more here: when you're out removing snow, you earn a higher snow wage on top of your regular pay. Where You'll Shine Be the foreman crews want to work for. Take ownership of builds that transform a property. Solve the hard problems other companies walk away from. And build something you can drive past for years and say, "My crew did that."
