The General Manager will be responsible first and foremost for building and developing an extraordinary team culture. A dynamic self-starter responsible for overseeing the execution of efficient restaurant, concessions and event operations, the General Manager will maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards. This hands-on executive management role provides a high level of event oversight, technical proficiency and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day operations in all areas of the F&B operations, outlets and scheduled events. The General Manager and the Executive Chef will lead the opening and beyond as a united team! REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Embodies an upbeat and positive attitude • Fosters an exciting work environment; maintains enthusiasm and celebrates successes • An inspiring, influential, hands-on leader who has proven skills rallying a team to achieve its highest potential and then driving it to the next level • Minimum 8 years’ experience in food & beverage industry; minimum of 5 years in a management role in food & beverage industry preferably within a similar venue • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Proven record of effective conflict resolution and service recovery • Experience with restaurant openings, hiring, training, and maintaining ongoing operational excellence • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications with excellent written and verbal communication skills • Computer literate in systems and software related to the operation of the restaurant • Working Knowledge of POS Systems – Toast a plus • Wine and Spirits knowledge with inventory management • Payroll management and restaurant accounting experience • BEO and/or event management software experience preferred • Acute financial management skills • Strong analytical ability • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills • Effective verbal and written English communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish cooperative working relationships • Comfortable dealing with the media, public speaking, and VIP groups • Familiar with sanitation procedures, as well as standard food and beverage equipment maintenance • Excellent professional presentation • Able to walk / stand for extended periods of time, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting and reaching overhead • Must be able to lift / carry items up to 40 lbs. and push / pull items up to 75 lbs. • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays Passion required!
