Cashier/Sales Floor Associate: Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio Location: Mayfield Heights, OH | Pay: $13.40 | Type: Hourly, Full-time/Part-time About the Job Join us in making a meaningful impact in Mayfield Heights, Ohio! Be the friendly face of Goodwill. As a Cashier/Sales Floor Associate, you'll handle customer transactions, keep the store stocked, and build lasting relationships with customers and donors. Responsibilities • Ensures 100% donor and customer satisfaction. • Itemizes purchases on the point-of-sale (POS) system, handles cash and makes change, and implements agency programs, i.e., Round Up, Loyalty, etc. • Utilizes POS software to input starting and ending cash amounts and maintain accurate customer records. • Handles customer disputes, makes exchanges according to policy, and assists customers in a friendly and helpful manner. • Assists in stock rotation, merchandising racks, shelves, and other displays in a presentable manner. • Assists store team leadership in the training of new personnel. • Assists in maintaining a clean store, such as cleaning shelves, dusting, vacuuming floors, and cleaning windows and mirrors. • Assists with floor running, apparel rotation, and cleaning dressing rooms as needed. • Follows all agency safety policies and guidelines.
