Welder Primary Purpose: We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team! The Welder will be responsible for welding and assembling metal components for production and facility operation. Job Description: • First Shift schedule is 5:30am - 4:00pm Monday through Thursday • Prepares welding equipment for operation by making equipment setup adjustments; assisting with equipment changeovers. • Fabricate new or replacement parts for production and assemble component parts using hand and small power tools. • Maintains quality standards and customer specifications by conducting first-piece and in-process inspection and making equipment adjustments. • Ensures accurate machine operation by making equipment adjustments; referring questions to the supervisor. • Maintains production operations by following policies and procedures. • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. • Other responsibilities to be assigned. Qualifications: • Must be willing to work overtime when needed • 2+ years previous experience as a Welder - preferred, not required • Experience working with steel materials • Blueprint reading (a plus, but not required) • Strong math skills (a plus, but not required) • Forklift experience (a plus, but not required) Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
