Job Details: Job Location: APL Main Office - Urbana, IL, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00Hourly, Job Shift: Day, APL Engineered Materials is looking for a Production Assistant to clean and inspect custom glassware used in chemical manufacturing and assist with production setup and cleanup. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and reliable attendance. Manufacturing or lab experience is preferred but not required. Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for cleaning custom glassware for chemical manufacturing. Expected to work in a safe/responsible manner with chemicals and fragile glass. Monitor glassware for cracks or imperfections. Assist production with set-up and clean-up operations as needed. Provide and manage a safe and accident-free work environment by complying with all company safety rules while performing job duties. Maintain reliable attendance. Additional duties assigned as required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience working in a lab or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
