Job Details: Job Location: FLA-Naples Corps - Naples, FL, Salary Range: $16.91 - $21.14Hourly, Job Category: Education, Schedule/Hours: M – F 8:00 pm – 4:00 pm - 35 hours a week This position is responsible for: Provides pre-school services for children including personal care, hygiene, learning and development activities and specialized programs; plans, develops, and teaches pre-school classes; prepares and maintains records; maintains cleanliness and orderliness of childcare property. Key Responsibilities: Provides constant care for the needs of the children in an efficient, clean, loving, safe, secure, and healthy manner. Develops and implements lesson plans which are age-group program specific; utilizes age-group appropriate discovery areas, enriched with program-specific activities, including teacher-made materials and hands-on activities. Provides opportunities for physical and mental stimulation through both inside and outside learning activities. Organizes and supervises recreational activities; observes, monitors, and supervises children on the playground Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to lift, hold, and carry children on a regular basis (up to 50 lbs.). Duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU: Education and Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D. required, and two years experience teaching child development programs in a church or pre-school, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Valid state driver's license C.P.R. and First Aid Certification Health Card Certification DCF Staff Credential 45 Hour DCF training (Required within first year of employment) *This position requires a level 2 background screening.
